My Therapy Philosophy…

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life’s most difficult seasons. I currently work individually with adults struggling to negotiate life transitions. This often entails understanding/connecting to younger parts of us that carry pain and have been locked away from our awareness, as these parts of us continue to influence how we move through our present day lives.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting individuals with complex trauma histories and deep emotional pain. For over a decade, I have also served in Emergency Services, guiding clients through life-threatening crises with steadiness, compassion, and clarity.

I am a Level 3 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps people reconnect with the parts of themselves that carry wounds, shame, or fear. Through this strengths-based model, I support clients in nurturing disowned parts of themselves and building greater self-understanding, self-acceptance, and emotional balance.

I believe healing happens in a relationship built on safety and collaboration. I work alongside my clients to gently explore painful life experiences that may be limiting growth or holding them back. In a calm and caring environment, clients are able to access their own internal resources — the parts of themselves capable of resilience, healing, and lasting change.
